The man whose face is not shown has just gotten off of a cruise ship from a week-long vacation. He realized after he exited the boat that he did not have his favorite watch. He quickly concludes that he must have left it somewhere on the boat, perhaps in his room. He goes running over to the captain of the ship to see if he can help him in any way. The captain explains that once vacationers exit the boat, they are unauthorized to get back on. The man, although missing his watch, does not make a big fuss about it. He feels somewhat calm after his week-long trip and figures he will just buy another one. Seeing this, the captain of the ship has little sympathy for the lost watch.
